Fold into Aether (5DN 31) is an uncommon blue instant from the Fifth Dawn set. It attempts to counter target spell and if it successfully counters that spell, the spell’s controller may put a creature card from their hand onto the battlefield. The card serves both as a counterspell and as a potential tempo-swing that can convert a counter into immediate creature deployment for the opponent (or yourself if you counter your own spell).
