Fierce Invocation (FRF-98) is a red sorcery from the Fate Reforged expansion that manifests the top card of your library and puts two +1/+1 counters on that manifested card. The manifested card enters the battlefield face down as a 2/2 creature and can later be turned face up for its mana cost if it is a creature card. This spell therefore both develops the battlefield with a creature and potentially buffs that creature immediately, supporting aggressive or midrange strategies.
