The Motherlode, Excavator (PIP-590 foil) is a legendary Artifact Creature — Robot from the Fallout expansion. When it enters, you gain energy counters equal to the number of nonbasic lands a chosen opponent controls, and its attack-trigger lets you pay energy to destroy a nonbasic land and prevent nonflying creatures the defending player controls from blocking that turn. As a red five-power, five-toughness creature with a mana value of 5, it serves both as a midrange attacker and an engine to punish opponents who rely on nonbasic lands.
