The Motherlode, Excavator is a legendary artifact creature (Robot) from the Fallout set that costs {3}{R}{R}. When it enters, you gain energy counters equal to a chosen opponent's nonbasic lands, and it can spend energy on attack to destroy a nonbasic land and prevent that player's nonflying creatures from blocking that turn. Its role is a red midrange tempo piece that leverages opposing mana bases and stored energy to generate removal and evasive attack windows.
