Hardened Scales (PIP-470) is a green Enchantment from the Fallout set that modifies counter placement. If one or more +1/+1 counters would be placed on a creature you control, that many plus one are placed instead. This effect increases enter-the-battlefield and replacement-counter outcomes, and multiple copies stack to further boost counters.
