Atomize (PIP-338 — Rare) is an instant from the Fallout expansion that destroys a target nonland permanent. When it resolves, its controller also proliferates, letting you add additional counters to any number of permanents and/or players that already have counters. The card’s dual effect makes it useful both as removal and as a way to advance +1/+1, loyalty, poison, or other counter-based strategies.
