You can tap him to draw then discard and he gains a quest counter, and once per turn you may cast an artifact or Human spell from your graveyard with converted mana cost less than or equal to the number of quest counters. His role supports graveyard recursion and value generation, enabling reuse of low-cost artifacts and Human spells across the midgame.
