Cankerous Thirst (EVE 116, foil) is an instant from the Eventide set that uses a black/green hybrid mana symbol in its cost. It can give a target creature -3/-3 if any black mana was spent to cast it and/or +3/+3 if any green mana was spent, allowing one or both effects to apply. The card functions as a flexible removal or pump spell depending on what colors you pay when casting it.
