Isochron Scepter (EMA-223 foil) is a rare artifact from Eternal Masters that can imprint an instant card with converted mana cost 2 or less when it enters the battlefield. It has an activated ability for 2 mana and tapping to copy the imprinted card and allows you to cast that copy without paying its mana cost. Decks often use it to repeatedly generate value or powerful instant-based interactions by imprinting a one-mana or two-mana spell that provides ongoing advantage.
