Collective Brutality (EMN 85, Rare) is a black sorcery from Eldritch Moon that offers three selectable modes and the Escalate mechanic. Its modes let you force an opponent to reveal and discard an instant or sorcery, give a creature -2/-2 this turn, or drain 2 life from an opponent while you gain 2 life. Choosing multiple modes requires paying the Escalate discard cost, making it flexible for hand disruption, creature removal, or incremental life-swing depending on game needs.
