Collective Brutality (EMN 85) is a black sorcery from Eldritch Moon that uses the Escalate mechanic to choose multiple modes. Its modes let you force an opponent to reveal and discard an instant or sorcery, give a creature -2/-2 until end of turn, and drain 2 life from an opponent while you gain 2 life, with each additional mode requiring the discard escalate cost. The card is commonly used as a flexible removal and disruption tool that can adapt to hand disruption, creature interaction, or life-swinging needs in midrange and control decks.
