Thieves' Auction (8ED-227) is a rare red sorcery from Eighth Edition that exiles all nontoken permanents and then has players draft them back onto the battlefield. Starting with the caster, players take turns choosing one exiled permanent to put onto the battlefield tapped under their control, repeating until none remain. The process can dramatically redistribute board resources and creates significant multiplayer interaction and timing implications.
