Requiem Monolith (EOE-113 foil) is a rare artifact from Edge of Eternities. Its tap ability gives a target creature a triggered replacement that draws its controller cards and costs life when that creature is dealt damage, and the creature’s controller can instead have the Monolith deal 1 damage to it. This effect is a sorcery-speed activated ability that lets players create a card-drawing/life-loss tradeoff or convert the effect into a small direct damage.
