It can exile a creature you control for two mana and tapping, and for four mana plus tapping and sacrificing itself it returns each creature card it exiled to the battlefield. The card supports recursive blink-style strategies by temporarily removing your creatures from play and later restoring only creature cards it exiled, interacting with token and non-card permanents according to its rulings.
