Grist, the Hunger Tide (DSC-220) is a legendary planeswalker printed in the Duskmourn: House of Horror Commander set that is also treated as a 1/1 Insect creature when not on the battlefield. Its +1 ability creates a 1/1 black and green Insect token and mills, repeating while an Insect card is milled to gain extra loyalty; its −2 lets you sacrifice to destroy a creature or planeswalker, and its −5 drains opponents based on creature cards in your graveyard. The card functions well in graveyard- and sacrifice-focused decks and is legal as a commander thanks to its legendary status and color identity.
