Master of the Pearl Trident (DDT 9) is a two-mana blue creature Merfolk that serves as a lord for Merfolk creatures. It gives other Merfolk you control +1/+1 and islandwalk, letting them become harder to block if opponents control Islands. Its presence can turn a Merfolk tribe deck toward aggressive, evasive damage by both enhancing stats and granting unblockability against Island-holding opponents.
