Maelstrom Nexus (2XM 206, Foil) is an enchantment from Double Masters printed with a five-color mana cost. The first spell you cast each turn gains cascade, exiling cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card with lesser mana value and allowing you to cast it without paying its mana cost. Its effect is timing-sensitive—if you've already cast a spell earlier in the turn (including this one entering the battlefield), that spell won't get cascade that turn and cascade triggers resolve before the original spell.
