Liege of the Tangle (2XM-174) is an 8/8 Creature — Elemental from Double Masters. It has trample and an ability that can put awakening counters on any number of your lands it damages, turning those lands into 8/8 green Elemental creatures while they have the counters. Those lands remain lands and the created creature status depends only on the presence of the awakening counter, not on the Liege being on the battlefield.
