Isochron Scepter (2XM-264) is a Rare Artifact from Double Masters that uses the Imprint mechanic when it enters the battlefield. It can exile an instant card with mana value 2 or less and later copy that exiled card by paying {2} and tapping to cast the copy without paying its mana cost. In gameplay it functions as a repeatable ritual/tempo engine that lets decks generate recurring value from a single cheap instant.
