Basalt Monolith (2XM-232 foil) is a colorless artifact from Double Masters that enters as a 3-mana artifact with a tap mana ability. It doesn't untap during your untap step but can be tapped for three colorless mana and has a pay-3 ability to untap itself, enabling repeated mana generation. The untap-for-cost loop has long been exploited in combo strategies to produce large or infinite amounts of mana when paired with cost-reduction or additional untap effects.
