Spell Pierce (Double Masters 2022 63, Foil) is a blue instant that punishes unprotected opponents by countering noncreature spells. It counters the target unless that spell's controller pays {2}, making it a cheap disruption spell that preserves mana efficiency. Its low cost and conditional effect make it useful both early in games to stop key threats and later as a tempo play in control or tempo decks.
