It gains experience counters whenever a creature you control with power 2 or less enters the battlefield and can put that many +1/+1 counters on another creature at the beginning of your combat. As a four-mana G/U legendary, it serves as a progression engine that rewards low-power creature deployment and then buffs key attackers over the course of the game.
