As Foretold (2X2-38) is a blue enchantment reprinted in Double Masters 2022 that accumulates time counters at each of your upkeeps. Once each turn you may pay {0} to cast a spell with mana value X or less, where X equals the number of time counters on As Foretold, effectively letting you cast low-cost spells for free as the counters grow. Its role in a deck is as a ramp/cheat engine that enables explosive turns by repeatedly reducing casting costs once it has accumulated counters.
