It grants Trample and lets you pay 2 life as an additional cost when casting green permanent spells to reduce their green mana cost by one, and whenever you cast a green permanent spell it puts a +1/+1 counter on each creature you control. Its role is as a midgame anthem and mana-cheating enabler that rewards a green-permanent-heavy deck by growing your board while partially discounting future green plays.
