At each of your end steps you may sacrifice a permanent, forcing each opponent to either sacrifice a permanent that shares a card type with it or lose 2 life and let you draw a card. The card serves as a political and value engine in multiplayer formats and can be used to repeatedly pressure opponents or generate card advantage through forced sacrifices.
