The Toymaker's Trap (WHO 677, Rare) is a black enchantment from the Doctor Who expansion. At the beginning of your upkeep you secretly choose a number 1–5 then an opponent guesses; a wrong guess makes them lose life equal to their guess and lets you draw a card, while a correct guess forces you to sacrifice the enchantment. The card interacts with battlefield memory — if it leaves and returns or if a second copy exists, previously chosen numbers are forgotten, which affects repeated uses of the triggered ability.
