It deals X damage to each opponent and each creature they control, where X is 1 plus the number of spells you cast from anywhere other than your hand this turn. The card can be foretold for {1}{R}{R}, and if cast from exile it counts itself toward X, making it scale with non-hand spells and alternate-casting effects.
