Ensnared by the Mara (WHO 689, Rare) is a red sorcery from the Doctor Who expansion. When cast, each opponent faces a villainous choice: either exile cards from the top of their library until a nonland card is exiled and you may cast that card for free, or exile the top four cards of their library and take damage equal to the total mana value of those exiled cards. The effect can serve both as a disruptive tutor-like threat against opponents and as a potential direct-damage swing if they opt for the four-card exile.
