When it resolves you choose X and may choose the listed modes multiple times, executing each chosen mode in order: make each player sacrifice a nonartifact creature, create a 3/3 black Dalek artifact creature token with menace, or force each opponent to discard a card. The modal, repeatable-choice design supports flexible uses from board disruption and token generation to hand disruption depending on how many times and which modes you choose.
