It taps for colorless mana and has a {1}{B}{R}, {T} activated ability that forces each player to discard a card, but only as a sorcery. The discard ability can be used as a political or disruptive tool in multiplayer games and supports black-red discard strategies by providing a repeatable symmetric discard effect.
