Neurok Transmuter (DST-27) is an uncommon Human Wizard creature from Darksteel. It has two blue-activated abilities that temporarily change a permanent’s types: one makes a creature also an artifact until end of turn, and the other removes the artifact type from an artifact creature and makes it blue until end of turn. Those effects can enable unusual interactions with artifact synergies and rules layers, such as disabling artifact-specific equipment or interacting with replacement effects like March of the Machines.
