During your turn it gets a significant cost reduction and, when it resolves, ends the turn — exiling spells and abilities on the stack, removing creatures from combat, and skipping to cleanup. That one-card reset is commonly used as a tempo or control tool to stop opponents' sequences or recover a stalled game state.
