Fraying Omnipotence (M19-97) is a black rare sorcery from Core Set 2019 that forces each player to lose half their life, discard half their hand, and sacrifice half their creatures, rounding up each time. The effect is applied in sequence—life loss, then hand discard chosen by players in turn order, then creature sacrifices chosen by players in turn order—with all chosen cards or creatures discarded/sacrificed simultaneously. Its massive symmetric board-and-hand reduction makes it a potent reset or political play in multiplayer and a high-impact control tool in one-on-one games.
