Capital Punishment (CN2-40) is a rare black sorcery from Conspiracy: Take the Crown that uses a council’s dilemma mechanic. Players vote for Death or Taxes, with each Death vote forcing opponents to sacrifice a creature and each Taxes vote forcing them to discard a card. The spell resolves the votes in turn order and then carries out sacrifices first and discards second, producing a scalable multiplayer effect.
