Ancient Ziggurat (Conflux #141, Uncommon) is a Land card that entered the set as part of a cycle enabling creature-heavy strategies. It taps to add one mana of any color, but that mana may only be spent to cast creature spells. The card’s restriction still allows that mana to pay any part of a creature spell’s total cost, including additional or alternative costs, but cannot pay for activated abilities that put creatures directly onto the battlefield.
