It exiles any number of creatures and/or planeswalkers you control and returns them at the beginning of the next end step, with creatures entering with an additional +1/+1 counter and planeswalkers with an additional loyalty counter. That combination makes it useful for protecting permanents from removal, retriggering enter-the-battlefield effects, or increasing planeswalker loyalty.
