As it enters, you choose a creature type and it makes all your Slivers and nontoken creatures (and relevant spells and cards you own) gain that type in addition to their other types. It also has an activated ability for three mana and tap to produce a 1/1 Sliver token, enabling tribal synergies and token generation for ongoing board development.
