Norn's Annex (CMM-829) is an artifact from Commander Masters that forces creatures to pay an additional cost to attack you or your planeswalkers. Each attacking creature's controller must pay either one white mana or 2 life for that creature as attackers are declared, and multiple copies each impose their own separate cost. The Phyrexian mana symbols in its casting cost can be paid with either white mana or 2 life, affecting how it is cast and counted for mana value.
