Ashling the Pilgrim (CMM 205) is a legendary red Elemental Shaman from the Commander Masters set. It has an activated ability for {1}{R} that puts a +1/+1 counter on itself and triggers a one-time effect when that ability has resolved three times in a turn, removing all counters to deal that much damage to each creature and each player. The card functions as a value engine that can both grow into a threat and act as a repeating board wipe and reach tool in red strategies.
