Description

Jared Carthalion, True Heir (CMR 281) is a Legendary Creature — Human Warrior from Commander Legends. When it enters the battlefield it makes a target opponent the monarch and prevents you from becoming the monarch that turn, and while you are the monarch it prevents damage to Jared and instead puts that many +1/+1 counters on it. As a three-mana G/R/W creature with built-in monarch interaction and growth, it functions both as a threat and as a political/board-stabilizing piece in multiplayer commander decks.
