Ancient Animus (CMR 215) is a green instant from the Commander Legends set that targets a creature you control and a creature an opponent controls. It puts a +1/+1 counter on your creature if that creature is legendary, then has those two creatures fight, dealing damage equal to their power to each other. This spell is a cheap removal or combat trick that also provides incidental growth for legendary creatures and requires both targets chosen at cast time.
