Ancient Animus (CMR 215, foil variant) is a green instant from the Commander Legends set. It puts a +1/+1 counter on a legendary creature you control (if that target is legendary) and then has that creature fight a target creature an opponent controls, dealing damage equal to their powers. Its low mana cost makes it a cheap combat trick and removal option in creature-focused or legendary tribal decks.
