The front side can put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield for {1}{G} and tapping the artifact, while the Adventure mills five and returns a milled creature to your hand before exiling the card. This pairing gives both a ramp/cheat effect and a self-recycling tutor-like effect for creature-based strategies.
