Monster Manual // Zoological Study (CLB 242, Rare) is an Adventure double-faced card from Commander Legends: Battle for Baldur's Gate that has an artifact front and an Adventure sorcery back. The front, Monster Manual, can put a creature card from your hand onto the battlefield for {1}{G} and tapping it, while the back, Zoological Study, mills five cards then returns a creature milled that way to your hand and exiles the card so you may later cast the front from exile. The card supports graveyard-seeding and creature recursion strategies by both tutoring creatures from hand onto the battlefield and enabling creature retrieval from the top of your deck via milling.
