Mairsil, the Pretender (C17-41 foil) is a legendary human wizard from the Commander 2017 set. When it enters, you may exile an artifact or creature card from your hand or graveyard with a cage counter, and Mairsil gains all activated abilities of cards you own exiled with cage counters, each activatable once per turn. Its design enables engine and combo strategies by borrowing activated abilities from exiled cards to produce diverse interactions and utility.
