Chain of Vapor (C16-84) is a blue instant reprinted in Commander 2016 that returns a target nonland permanent to its owner's hand. The spell's kicker-like follow-up lets that permanent's controller optionally sacrifice a land to copy the spell and choose a new target for the copy. In multiplayer Commander, the copy can enable political plays or repeated removal while the initial return can protect or disrupt key permanents.
