Promise of Power (C14-157) is a black sorcery from Commander 2014. It lets you choose between drawing five cards and losing 5 life or creating an X/X flying Demon token equal to your hand size, and you may pay an entwine cost to do both. If both modes are chosen, the drawn cards count toward the Demon’s power and toughness as set when the spell resolves.
