Thunderstaff (C13-267) is an uncommon artifact from the Commander 2013 set. While untapped, it prevents 1 point of combat damage to you from each creature that would deal combat damage to you. It can tap for {T} after paying {2} to give attacking creatures a temporary +1/+0 boost until end of turn, providing an offensive option as well as defense.
