Winter Orb (CED-276) is a rare artifact from the Collectors' Edition that modifies untap steps. While untapped, it limits each player to untapping no more than one land during their untap step. It is commonly used to lock opponents on mana and slow down fast combo or aggro strategies while enabling decks that can operate with restricted mana or manipulate the artifact's tap state.
