It has cumulative upkeep {1} and whenever you pay that upkeep you may search your library for a creature card with mana value equal to the number of age counters on it and put that creature onto the battlefield. The card supports a toolbox or value strategy by tutoring creatures of increasing mana values over successive upkeeps.
